Coming to an end

Can you believe that our first semester is almost over? I have to say that I have changed alot over the past few months. This program has  allowed me to grow both professionally and how differently I live my life everyday. The patients that I have seen walk through the door has made me relize how good my life is and the difference I can make to the community. I can't wait to see what the next semester has to bring.

Dental Hygiene Alumnae

I had so much fun last friday with the Alumnae. I loved hearing for each of the ladies their life journeys from when the graduated from dental hygiene school. I really appreciate them taking the time out of their busy schedule to talk to us on how the roles of the hygienist is forever changing. One of the ladies said her parents always told her to make a life for yourself that doean't involve someone else so that you could always support yourself. My parents have said the same thing to me and I believe everyone should take that advise seriously because you never know what could happen in the future.
